Weaver Hills is in the Peak District. There is a parking spot on the top of the valley that provides a view over the land. It is absolutely breath taking!

Within this artwork the magical colours and shapes of the fields and trees are captured. It's almost a puzzle of brush marks that reveals a scene.
Using a loser style I was able to play with the direction of the brush marks and what they imply.

This is an abstract representation of the view. it is accurate and pulls the life and movement onto the canvas to intrigue the eye and encourage exploring of nature.
