This commission was a collaboration with the clients wants and my resources of images.

I met this client when volunteering in South Africa. We were on the same team and share many memories together. They wanted one of those memories in painting form. 

​

We discussed the subject matter they would like and they asked for me to supply photos that I could work from. They chose a beautiful composition involving bright striking rocks and soft luminous water. 

​

Painting this was a joy, bringing back happy times and reminding me of the enchantment of South Africa and the Garden Route.
