This commission was a gift to a couple who love dog walking and long walks through beautiful scenery.

The details in this reference a photograph I was inspired by.  Because the details were very thick and obscure, I was able to use a fat brush for nearly all the brush marks. This really pushed texture into the painting.

I then went in with a small brush to add the detail and person with dog into the painting.
