Sally is kind beautiful elephant and this painting of her was one I did for myself.

This piece really is a technical exploration of brush work and capturing the creatures essence. I think I was very successful in creating a balanced elegant painting.

There are two different stages of paining within 'Sally'. The background is loose and suggestive, whilst Sally is tight, clean and vivid.

This piece now hangs on a wall in Dubai having been purchased as a statement piece.
