The client requested their commission to be a painting of the same scene 'Salcombe at Sunrise' was painted from.

 

This peaceful calm watered time of the day depicts Salcombe at rest before the tourists and residents fill the streets with sound and steps.

It was special and very enjoyable to paint this scene again albeit on a smaller scale. I found it very interesting to see my muscle memory from the first painting guided me through this one.
