This kind hearted pup is such a happy and loved family member.

This painting was a joyful one to paint. 

​

To begin I built up the background with washes. I then went in with more intense colour and stringer brush marks to elevate the texture. 

​

It was very fun capturing the essence of this pet and I think he wants to jump out of the painting.
