This piece was commissioned as a memory of a recently passed loved member of the family.

This beautiful cat was a pleasure to paint. His fur and floof was created by building layers of paint and colour, finished with a thin brush adding the wisps of hair. 

​

The background was a play on the cats personality as the client suggested he loved the outdoors and was a little hunter. I did this using looser brush marks and layers of colourful washes.
