This special painting was a gift to a couple that had explored South Africa.

They had many spectacular moments whilst there, but seeing this inspiring creature in its natural habitat was one of the highlights.

I am very passionate about wildlife and animal welfare so this piece holds a lot of love. 

​

The background is more abstract and contains experimentation with drips, washes and colours. 

​

The giraffe was very exciting to paint and produce a creature true to life.
