Gara Rock is a stunning, magnificent beach and costal point. It holds an abundance of colour, wildlife and beauty.

The views stretch out across the sea and create a sense of peace and warmth.

This is a favourite place of mine that I have visited ever since I was small.

Climbing the rocks around the beach, you’ll find fish, sea plants, all manners of creatures. The erosion from the battering waves has formed intricate patterns in the stone. They look like paintings and sculptures.

The tide is a really powerful force here which can definitely be felt. It opens up and allows you to explore the golden sands, jump across the rock pools and paddle through the soft water. Then it comes storming in catching you off guard smashing into seaweed, boulders and seeps into your jeans as you run away from the chasing water.

An extremely special place that should always be given respect.

I thought capturing this fabulous scene through a painting would enable anyone to experience this magical place, and feel the sense of peace it holds.
